If you are interested in MARC services please consider taking a tour. You will see services first hand and be able to talk directly to consumers and staff. All MARC services are based on an Individual Service Plan. The cost of MARC services is based upon the projected staff hours your individual plan requires. Employment, whether in the community or the center, creates the pride of wage earning. Staff assist by assessing employment interests, aptitudes and skills, finding jobs, providing encouragement, and teaching new job skills and work habits. MARC-East also serves as a labor resource to local businesses by providing teams of eager employees. The teams work short or long term, and may be supervised by MARC staff. Some of our long term sites result in beneficial relationships with coworkers, improving the morale and diversity of the workplace. Individuals working in the community are provided staff job coaches to ensure punctuality, training, and performance. Employees are availabe for your job site, or work can be sent to the center. Center-based work is completed at competitive rates with on-time delivery. Assembly work is procured from area businesses. Wages are paid on a piece rate basis, allowing consumers to work at their own pace. Businesses can call MARC-EAST for hand assembly, packaging, light cleaning, labeling or collating at your site or in our building.
