The purpose of MARC is to enhance the quality of life for individuals
with developmental disabilities. MARC - Mt. Horeb fulfills this purpose by integrating consumers into Mt. Horeb's
vibrant business and social life.

The Supported Employment program involves the development
of jobs in local businesses for individuals who are interested in community employment.
On-the-job training and supervision occurs until the individual has reached the employer's
standard of quality job performance. Such jobs often include dishwashing, bussing
tables, light janitorial duties, laundry, bagging groceries, stocking shelves, animal care, and
light clerical duties.
Our employees have a wide range of skills and abilities. We job develop to match employees skills with employers'
needs.

Adult Education
Living life to the fullest potential and finding inclusion in the life of our community is everyone's goal.
We provide guidance and training in essential life skills. We offer one-to-one and class sessions on maintaining
and increasing basic work habits, academic subjects, computer awareness, social and leisure skills, cooking and
meal planning. Community-based training sessions include banking and money management, shopping, mobility,
personal safety, community awareness, and pre-retirement activities and planning.
Center-Based Employment
If your business has experienced difficulty with hiring employees for hand assembly, packaging, labeling or
collating duties, then outsourcing to the MARC Center may be for you.
